I started working at Minnieville in January 2014 and working with Kindergarteners has been a great experience for me as a teacher. I had previous experience working with preschool age children as my background has always been education. As far as my educational background, I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida Altantic University, and a master's degree in early childhood education from George Mason University.
I greatly value having good communication with all the families that I work with so please do not hesitate to contact me by phone 703-670-6106, or by email Obandop@pwcs.edu, and I can address any questions or concerns that you might have about your child.
We will begin administering the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) this month. A letter with more information on the PALS testing will be sent out this week(Oct.11- Oct 14).
Three of our mealworms have hatched into beetles; We have named our beetles Bob, Ben, and Barbara! I Have posted a picture of them on our Files and Documents link!
We will have our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 29th at 5:00pm. There will be important information about your child's education as well as general information about this school. I look forwards to seeing you.
