All students of Minnieville Elementary School will be diverse, world class leaders, fully capable of facing the challenges they meet in the ever-changing 21st century. Our students possess the necessary skills to be empathetic and display the social and emotional skills to be compassionate toward others and their community. As a collaborative team, we create accessible opportunities that promote student engagement and inspire a love for learning. Through constant demonstration of SOAR-ing for Excellence: (Safe, Organized, Accepting, and Respectful), students will reach their fullest potential in future college and career of choice.
School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the Minnieville Elementary School data-informed comprehensive school counseling program is to pursue academic and behavioral excellence by creating a safe, equitable and accessible environment. Through a collaborative effort with students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members, Minnieville students become successful, college-and career-ready, world-class citizens. Given Minnieville’s diverse population, the counseling program provides equitable access to all students regardless of sex, race, ethnic background, socioeconomic class or learning ability, prepares students for lifelong success as responsible members of the local, national and global communities.
